Nicolas H. Roelofs, Ph.D. has more than 30 years of experience in the Life Sciences and Diagnostics industry. He served for 25 years as an operating manager in roles across R&D, business development, sales, and business management. He has been directly involved in four start-up companies and several multi-national corporations including Baxter Healthcare, Applied Biosystems, Stratagene, Bio-Rad and Agilent Technologies Inc.. At Agilent Nick served as the President of the Life Sciences Group. In the five years since leaving Agilent, Nick has served as an Industrial Advisor for Nordic Capital, a Swedish Private Equity firm. He has also served on eight company Boards for a range of venture capital backed start-ups and larger private equity backed multinational companies. Nick also serves as an advisor to a range of governments and public, private equity and venture capital investors.

Nick received his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Nevada, Reno and an M.S. in Organic Chemistry from Iowa State University.
