Jonathan Wang, Ph.D., is a Venture Partner on the Asia team, focused on Greater China. With approximately 30 years of healthcare and life sciences experience, spanning investment, entrepreneurship, and research, he co-founded OrbiMed Asia. He has been named one of the top 10 healthcare investors in China (ChinaVenture). Previously, he held leadership positions at Burrill and WI Harper. He is an HKEX Biotech Advisory Panel member and is a co-founder and former Chairman of BayHelix, a premier organization of Chinese healthcare business leaders.

Under the supervision of Eric Kandel, a Nobel Laureate, Dr. Wang obtained a Ph.D. in Molecular Neurobiology from Columbia University. He has rewarded the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) Research Fellowship at Columbia. He also earned an MBA from Stanford University.
